My Qualifications
For over 10 years, I was a State of California-appointed Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) and have written hundreds of medical-legal reports that were used by patient-attorneys, insurance-attorneys, and WCAB judges to settle patient-claims of Workers' Compensation injury.
In these reports, not only would I opine (put forth my medical opinion) regarding the degree of permanent disability, I would also put forth medical opinions on the need for further medical care, causation of injury, and/or apportionment of permanent disability, the need for temporary disability and the extent of permanent disability.
I have also served as a special type of evaluator called a Agreed Medical Evaluator (AME), who is a doctor (usually a medical doctor) that is specially chosen by both the patient's attorney and the insurance company's attorney to settle the medical issues of disputed claim.
I have also written hundreds of final comprehensive medical reports that were used in personal injury cases to settle claims of permanent disability and need for future medical care.
On a few occasions, I have even testified in front of a judge and jury as an expert witness in personal injury cases that have went to trial.
In other words, I was a pretty darn good and well respected as a medical-legal report writer back in the day.
My Report Writing Service
Although because of recent law changes, I have chosen not to renew my QME license, I am available to review your medical condition & records and then put forth a well-written medical report in hopes of settling your dispute with Social Security, Supplemental Disability Insurance carriers, Veterans Administration, Healthcare Insurance Companies and Worker's Compensation carriers.
Although I certainly cannot promise that my report will be accepted in your State or by the agency that is disputing any part of your medical claim for disability, clients have successfully used my reports in the past.
These reports are not cheap (from $375 to thousands of dollars, depending on the work involved and the level of complexity you want), so before you contract me to write one of these reports, it is imperative that you speak with your attorney or the disputing agency in order to see if my report will be allowed into the case. Remember, my report will be based on your medical records, and I will not have the opportunity to personally examined you (unless you live in the Bay Area). That said, I can usually use the medical findings from their own doctors and your MRI findings to support your claim.
It is also important to understand, that I have a very good reputation as a medical report writer and will not compromise my reputation by "stretching the truth" with regard to your medical situation. In other words, I will tell it like it is.
